Presence of 2,000 spectatorswith the exception of the restrictive measures in force, the Final 4 of the Men’s Cup will be held on February 18 and 20 in “Dyo Aorakia” of Heraklion, however they will enter into force very strict security measures in order to avoid mishaps.
As it became known, after a meeting with the police, it was decided that the four teams that will participate in the eventAEK, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and Promitheas, will not get tickets to sell when they try them, but they will be available exclusively from the EEC. The movement of fans to Crete is explicitly forbidden.
Detailed information on how the fans arrive at the stadium and on all the measures that will apply, will be available in the next 24 hours.
It was also decided that the event will not be postponed, no matter how many cases a team has. It is recalled that Prometheus presented four cases the day before yesterday and AEK one.
The first jambol will take place on Friday between the pair of last year’s final, Prometheus and Panathinaikos, with the match starting at 17:00. Three hours later (at 20:00) the other semifinal will be held, between AEK and Olympiakos. The final of the event is scheduled for Sunday (20/2) at 17:00. All matches will be televised by ERT.
The EEC Communication:
The request of the EEC was accepted by the State, accompanied by the submission of the specialist for the specific organization of the Health Protocol and the strict guarantees and observance of it, for conducting the Final 4 of the Men’s cup with coverage of 40% of the capacity of the stadium ” Two Aorakia “in Heraklion, that is, the presence of 2,000 spectators.
