The prospective opponents of the National Men’s Handball for the World Playoffs

The National Men’s Handball team ranked 23rd in the ongoing European Championship being held in Germany and will be in the second capacity group of the draw for the latter part of the second phase of the 2025 World Championship playoffs in the European zone.

In addition to the representative group, the second group will include the remaining teams that occupied positions 18-24 in the Euro, namely Georgia, Serbia, Faroe Islands, Switzerland, Romania and Bosnia, as well as the winners of the four pairs for the first part of the of the second phase of the playoffs of the European zone, the matches of which will be held on March 13-14 and 16-17.

On the contrary, in the first group will be the 11 teams that occupied positions 7-17 in the European Championship.

The draw for the playoffs of the European zone will take place in Cologne, 27-28 of the month.
