Passed Augsburg and… Bayern is waiting – Stuttgart beat Leipzig with 5 goals!

by

The pursuit continues of Leverkusen from Bayern Munich!

The Bavarians won 3-2 away from home Augsburg for the 19th matchday of the Bundesliga, in a game where they did not start well, however, then they improved their performance, were effective and got an important “three points”.

And this, because the champions of Germany decreased to -1 with 47 points from the top and Xabi Alonso’s team which has 48 points and competes on Sunday (28/01) with Gladbach.

The match did not start well for Thomas Tuchel’s side. In the 12th minute, the home team scored with Rexbetsaibut after VAR review the goal is disallowed due to offside.

Bayern Munich threatened in the 13th minute with Goretzka’s chance and in the 23rd minute the Pavlovich opened the scoring from close range after Coman’s fine turn in the corner. The guests were pressing to find a second goal before the end of the first half and they found it with him Davis. Specifically, at 45+5′, the Canadian converged and shot hard with his right for 2-0.

In the second half, the home team came on strong and reduced the score to 2-1 in the 52nd minute. Babu had space and crossed, with Demirovic to take the header and send the ball into the net. The Bavarians, however, did not leave the smiles on the home team’s side for a long time and in the 58th minute Kane in an empty net it made it 3-1, a phase which was reviewed by VAR, but there was nothing illegal.

And while the match seemed to be dying out, Bayern’s relaxation gave Augsburg the right to… believe. In the 88th minute, the hosts won a penalty for Neuer’s handball on Udokai, but the German made amends with amazing repulsion in Michael’s execution.

Augsburg kept trying to find a way to get into the game and in the 90+3′ they won a second penalty for marking Miller in the area! THE Demirovic he was on target to make it 3-2, but the Bavarians were not threatened in the end and took an important title-chasing win against Leverkusen.

In the other games, a great victory with 5-2 over Leipzig was won by Stuttgart and consolidated in 3rd place, opening the gap from the “bulls” to four points. Miho opened the scoring for the hosts, with Udav making it 2-0 and Cesko reducing the deficit in the 32nd minute. The second half was full of goals, with Lewelling making it 3-1 and despite another reduction with Openda, with his two goals Udavwho completed the hat trick, Stuttgart took the precious “three points” with 5-2.

Amazing things at the “Wolkswagen Arena” for the match between Wolfsburg and Cologne. In the 14th minute, the assistant referee was particularly unlucky, after receiving the ball in the face, as a result of which he became dizzy and found himself on the playing field semi-conscious. The quarterback then replaced him, and the announcer rushed to find a solution, asking over the… loudspeakers if any fans wanted one. In the end, Wolfsburg’s sports director, Tobias Krul, became the fourth referee! The game was tied 1-1 with goals from Alidu in the 37th minute for Cologne and Parades at 40′ for the “wolves”.

Her match also ended without a winner (1-1). Hoffenheim with the Heidenheim (45′ pen. Kramaric / 29′ Dinksi), while the Werder Bremen prevailed 3-1 over Freiburg (9′ Dukes, 53′ Nainmach, 93′ Malatini – 28′ pen. Griffo).
