The 25-year-old right-footed Turk has made 19 appearances so far this season with two goals and the same number of assists in all competitions.

“PAE PAS Ioannina 1966 announces the acquisition of Turkish footballer Mete Kaan Demir.
Mete Demir was born on May 13, 1998 in Mainz, Germany and started his career from the Hannover academies reaching the second team. In total, with the German team, he played in 60 games, scoring 8 goals and providing 8 assists.
In January 2019, Demir signed his first professional contract with Basaksehir. In the 2019-20 season he played on loan at Eskişehirspor where he scored 22 appearances and four goals. The following season he returned to Basaksehir with whom he played in 4 games.
In the 2021-22 season it was Eyupspor’s turn to initially acquire him on loan and then in the summer of 2022 to make him theirs with a regular transfer, wearing their shirt until a few days ago in 53 games having 6 goals and 2 assists In January 2023 and for six months he played in the Gentzlerbirligi where he scored 16 games, four goals and an assist.
Mete Demir was also an international player with the Turkish Under19 national team.
