Milonas could not stand in Germany

“Mountain” for Milos. The Neosmyrnios lost 0-3 sets to Lüneburg in Germany in their first CEV Cup men’s volleyball quarter-final match and now need a win by the same score or 3-1 sets in the “Persian Cross” rematch next week, in order to claim in the “golden” set the qualification to the semi-finals of the event.

Sakis Psarra’s team could not withstand the pressure exerted by the German team, mainly from the service and the attack.

Rohrs with 18 points was the leading scorer for Lunenburg, which had 56% offensive efficiency, compared to 40 for Milos, who was led by Nanopoulos with 10 points.
