Ketsetzoglou: “Almeida doesn’t care about the layout, but the culture of tactics”

The latest news from the report of AEK in view of the match with Asteras Tripoli at the OPAP Arena was conveyed by News Bulletin 247 Kostas Ketsetzoglou.

Its reporter, discussing with Vaios Tsoutsikas and Michalis Tsochos on the “air” of the station, referred to Matias Almeida’s plans for the match with the Arkades, clarifying that the Argentinian coach is keeping his cards closed regarding the lineup, he repeated the possibility of shared use, Levi Garcia and Ezequiel Ponce at the top of the attack, while he outlined the philosophy of the experienced coach:

“Unknown what Almeida will do for the Astera lineup. He has been successful in what he has done so far with the player behind the forward pressing into the opposition’s first defensive zone. He doesn’t care about the layout, but about the… culture of the Almeida tactic.”

Afterwards, Kostas Ketsetzoglou emphasized the fact that for the first time in a long time, AEK is not concerned about losses due to injuries, while he did not rule out the possibility of Ljubitzic playing: “First time he has only one injured. Only the suspended Gacinovic-Jonsson absent and the players who are in the Asian Cup. I estimate that Ljubicic will take time, but we will see in which position”.
