Yesterday’s match, which brought down the curtain on the 23rd matchday of La Liga, between Rayo Vallecano and Sevilla was marred by a obscene action of a home team fan.
The unprecedented incident happened during the match, when o Lucas Ocampos he got close to the Rayo fans in order to take a throw-in. A fan, sitting in the first few seats of the field, reached out and grabbed the Argentine’s behind with his finger. PAE Sevilla hopes that the appropriate measures provided for in the regulations will be taken so that such behavior does not happen again on a football pitch, while we have transferred the matter to LaLiga. Such gestures and attitudes cannot be allowed in our organization if we aspire to be the best league in the world. Finally, PAE Sevilla conveys its maximum support to Lucas Ocampos, who demonstrated his maturity and absolute professionalism, despite the unacceptable behavior of the fan who insulted him».
