The 1992/1993 season Manchester United won the first championship in the new era of English football. The last matchday had a procedural character, since Sir Alex Ferguson’s team had secured the championship, as a result of which the teams played comfortably and a historic goalscoring record was set, which stands to this day.

The 2013/2014 competition year Manchester City went top of the Premier league after winning the league, picking up two more points than Liverpool.
The 31st matchday of this season is in fifth place on the list, after the English teams achieved overall 42 goal. Arsenal’s 6-0 thrashing at Stamford Bridge by Chelsea, Liverpool’s 6-3 win over Cardiff and City’s 5-0 thrashing of Fulham are some of the results recorded in May 2014 .
