by

THE Borussia Dortmund prevailed upon her Freiburg with 3-0 at “Zignal Induna Park”, in the opening game of the 21st matchday of this year’s Bundesliga.

The visitors started… boldly, but failed to look threatening to the opposing defense. With the Besfalos increasing their speed gradually to finally take the lead, only in the 16th minute…

When Philkrug’s turn from the left, o Malen he shot with power and sent the ball high into the right corner of the goal, for 1-0!

Freiburg received another “blow”, as they saw Gulde leave injured in the 23rd minute, while, as if that wasn’t enough, in the seventh minute of stoppage time in the first half, they conceded the second goal.

As in a quick contrast of Dortmund, Philkrug found him nicely Malen at the height of the penalty and with his second today’s goal – and ninth overall in the league – he scored 2-0.

The second half didn’t have so many emotions, but the “yellow and black”… managed to get a goal, with Maassen’s effort in the 72nd minute.

For the celebrant to come Philkrug and with an 87th minute header to turn Maassen’s assist into goal number 10 of the season, along with the 3-0 final!

Thus, with the said result, Borussia returned to success, achieving it fourth win in the last five matches and climbing parallel to Third Place of the standings, together with Stuttgart, which competes the day after tomorrow (11/02).

On the contrary, Freiburg suffered its third consecutive defeat in the Bundesliga – and even with a two-goal difference, again – to stay seventh and three points away from the sixth, which gives a European “ticket”.
