The amazing Aruka “cuts” the title from Porto

by

Porto “suicided” and is in danger of being left out of the Portuguese league title. The Dragons lost 2-3 at Aruca in the last match of matchday 21 of the Primeira Liga and found themselves -7 behind leaders Sporting Lisbon, now outsiders behind the Lions and Benfica for the title and falling victim to one of the biggest upsets of the season from a team that rose to seventh in the table, but with no hope of challenging for anything good beyond that.

Just in the 1st minute Muitsa made it 1-0, in the 9th minute Evanilson equalized with a penalty, in the same way in the 35th minute Pedro Gonzalez made it 2-1, Jason in the 60th minute made it 3-1, in the 86th minute Fernandez gave some hope to Sergio Conceicao’s players, since there were eight minutes of stoppage time, but in the 96th Cardoso’s dismissal “extinguished” any hopes of the “dragons”.
