After a huge career as a footballer and before becoming a successful commentator, Mr Alan Shearer he had tried – without succeeding – to keep his beloved Newcastle in the Premier League.
It was the 2009with the “magpies” finally being relegated to the Championship with the veteran goaltender on their bench.
Relegation was sealed last week after defeat by Aston Villa, with Shearer revealing almost 15 years after an incredible incident happened to him the night before the crucial match.
Spoiler alert, it includes… piano sex!
Speaking to Gary Lineker on ‘The Rest is Football’ podcast, the 53-year-old veteran revealed how “As a coach, I was put in a suite. I had a great room with a large living room and the bed was in another room. I woke up sometime around 3 or 4 and heard noises. Someone was playing the piano in the living room!
I thought someone is in my f@@@ room. Then it stopped. But after five minutes I heard people talking and later I heard other things…
I was freaking out, stressed and scared. I looked and there was a guy having sex with a woman on the piano! I thought about yelling, what should I do? So I yelled “do me a f@@@ favor, man, come now” and they ran out of the room.
I could not believe it. I don’t know if it was employees who thought no one was there but I had to understand that things weren’t going to go well that day.”
