THE PAOK disappointed for a third consecutive derby in Tuba, with Thomas Murg to appear troubled after the 4-1 from Olympiakos.

The Austrian midfielder spoke about his team’s inability to cope against Piraeus and Panathinaikos-AEK, while closing he apologized to the team’s fans.

What he said in detail:

For the match: “It’s hard to explain today’s game. It was a fair victory for Olympiakos. We didn’t press, we didn’t have control of the ball. Olympiacos were more compact. We had 5-6 chances and scored a goal. We have to work on some of our reactions on the pitch.”

On the negative results in the derby: “It is difficult that for the third game in a row at home we did not win. What worries me is that we didn’t do anything right on the pitch. We didn’t stick to the plan. We lost the duels. We only got one point against AEK. We could have won the previous two games, but not today. We have the opportunity on Wednesday to go to Leoforo and come back with the qualification”.

His message to fans: “We thank them for supporting us, for filling the stadium, it is difficult to say anything now, we are disappointed that we did not give them joy. We apologize for the result and thank them for their support during the 90 minutes of the match. He is always by our side.”
