HANTH three wins in the postponed A1 women’s table tennis, hopes for four

The matches in the A1 national category of women’s table tennis had been postponed in the past days due to the participation of the Bulgarian athlete of HANTH, Tsvetelina Georgieva, in the recent European Under 21 Championship. Thus, in the gym of HANTH, a total of six games were held for the ninth, tenth and eleventh matchday, matches to be played at the end of January.

The essentially home team, Sarises Florina, ASEA Kavala and GAO Piraeus competed, and CHANTH came out the most benefited.

The latter won all three of its matches, collecting 6 points, it is now level with Pera Athens and Sarises and from the fifth and last two days of the regular season of A1 it put “fire” in the claim for fourth place, which leads to the stay and the playoffs 1-4.

The team from Thessaloniki defeated GAO Piraeus 4-0, Kavala 4-1 and the runner-up of last year’s championship, ASEA Sarises, in the strongest match 4-3. In addition to the Bulgarian international, it had Stella Tzaridou, Christina Tzenidis and Theodora Yagou in its composition.
