Beos: “I’m giving the team for free to a serious businessman and not to any bookie, I don’t want to, I’m tired”

Through his post on Facebook, Achilleas Beos announced that at the end of the season he will leave Volos.

The 65-year-old spoke to Metropolis and referred to his decision, while also commenting on his case Andrea Tetei.

On his decision not to continue in Volos: “My announcement is clear, I don’t know how many times I have said on your show that I want to leave football. In 2017 I envisioned a city that we wanted to become Monaco, now Monaco wants to become Volos, together with my city I wanted to create a team that would unite Volos.

The team started from the 3rd national team and made it to the playoffs presenting a nice spectacle, with the exception of this year’s season which is what happens in football. To make a racist attack you have to be a racist, I’m not, I grew up abroad and all those who attack Beo for their own benefit are racists. There is freedom of speech, the gay can express his opinion, but I can’t? It’s everyone’s personal opinion, why would you call me homophobic dude? Did you monopolize it in the mornings?’
