China held on to the women’s world championships – China and France in the men’s final

China retained the women’s team world title. In the final, he received… suffocating pressure from Japan but found the exits to win 3-2 and celebrate the first place for the 6th time in a row.

On the 9th day of the World championship, which is held in Busan, Korea, the dominant force of table tennis was in immediate danger when it found itself 2-1 behind the 2nd favorite of the games, but it turned the situation around and went to the 2024 Olympic Games with the best morale.

In the men’s team, on Saturday 24/02, the pair of the final emerged and there is also a European flavor.

France impressed once again and with a 3-1 victory against Chinese Taipei will claim on Sunday 25/02 the surprise against the title holder China. The latter, however, found it dark against the host Korea and prevailed 3-2 with a reversal! The men’s final, where China and France meet again after 1997, kicks off at 13:00 Greek time (20:00 local).

3rd place was shared by Hong Kong and France.

The program started in the morning with the men’s semi-finals and a formidable match between China and Korea. And it was the organizers, who with their amazing appearance increased the interest and put the world champion and Olympian in a difficult position.

The young ace prevailed in both of his games against Chuan Qi Yuan and Lin Yunju, in between Simon Guzi crushed Cao Cheng Jui and the tricolors reached the big moment of qualifying for the final. Lin Yun temporarily equalized for Taipei when he beat Alexis Lebrun.
