Maintained the lead for promotion o Levadian!
Boeotians drew 0-0 with Larissa at the AEL FC Arena in the top-of-the-table derby of Super League 2 Group A matchday 24 in a game of few phases, dominated by hard-hitting duels.
Great atmosphere in Thessaly stadium, with around 10,000 creating a nice atmosphere. “Won” from the game was the team of Sokratis Ofrydopoulos who is in first place with 52 points and maintained the difference of +9 – with a game more – from Larissa (43 points).
The first part was balanced, with the strong duels taking center stage, while the players of both teams emphasized the protection of the rear. In the 18th century Bairovich he received the ball from the right and, seeing Sulukos outside his goal, he tried to “hang” him from a difficult angle, but the goalkeeper of the home team kicked out for a corner.
Even after the first half hour, both teams were not taking any chances offensively, which led to the first half ending goalless. In the 52nd minute, AEL called for a penalty for Mejia’s infringement, but referee Diamantopoulos punished Papageorgiou with a yellow card for “theatrics”.
A minute later (53′) the Boeotians had a great chance to take the lead! THE Bairovich found himself in a good position inside the area, but his powerful diagonal shot was impressively saved by the home goalkeeper, Sulukowhich kept the score 0-0.
Gustavo threatened in the 57th minute with a free kick, but Souloukos was on hand, while in the 86th minute, Larissa came close to scoring when Plegas took the shot, with Groth making a big save. In the last minutes, Larissa tried to find the goal that would give her the victory, but without success, with 0-0 remaining until the end.
