The Tsitsipas brothers found it… dark with the “good morning” in the game, but they managed to stop two break points and take the game. The first set was evenly matched, but Cash and Galloway broke through in the ninth game, reaching a break and ending the set 6-4.
In the second set, they also entered strongly and reached a new break, which gave them the upper hand for good. The Tsitsipas brothers fought back with a break at 3-3 and fought to stay alive thereafter, stopping three break points, but their opponents capitalized on their fourth chance to retake the lead at 4-3. They then took the next two sets without much resistance and took the 2-0 set 6-3.
