Moreira and Oikonomou were the two midfielders, while Peleas, Warda and Dunkerloui moved behind the more advanced Woolery.

PAOK also had a lot of absences, since Kotarski, Ekong, Baba, Michaelidis, Sastre, Koulierakis, Meite and Andrija Zivkovic were left out of the squad. THE Lucescu chose Z. Živkovic as the goalkeeper, with Vieirania returning to the starting line-up after almost two months, taking on the right-back role, while Kenziora, Nasberg were the stopper duo, alongside left-back Yoni Otto.
