Tedoglou: “It was a very bad match, it was morning and I didn’t feel like it”

He returned to Greece at dawn Miltos Tedoglou with the gold medal in his hands, from his participation in the World Indoor Championships. The Greek jumper in his statements to the SEGAS camera referred to his participation expressing once again his opinion that it was a bad race because it was morning and “he had no appetite”.

What I need to do is be more focused, go to better matches. This race was a very bad race, since it was morning I had no appetite, that’s it. From then on it just wasn’t for me. I believe I will have more appetite for the Olympic Games, the European Championship because I know they are good games, it is open and I am chasing a good performance over there. Unfortunately, it was not possible to perform there”said Tedoglou who, referring to the summer events, said that:

“Yes, I feel ready, we will also do a good preparation, I will enter the games early, I will definitely be ready.”

Finally, to a question he received about whether he has in mind to break any record from the total number of medals he has in his possession, he said:

“Not so much, I don’t think about it that way, but I know how much other people have won. I know that Pedroso has 5 closed, 4 open and how many athletes have, but that is not my motivation, no.”
