The goalkeeper of Brentford, Mark Flecken was awarded the top save of February award.
The 30-year-old Dutchman responded brilliantly to his header Pedro Netoin his side’s (0-2) away win over Wolves, with the Premier League honoring him for his effort.
This particular phase started with Pablo Sarabia’s cross at the heart of the Brentford defence, with Pedro Neto attempting to head home. The ball was headed for the goal, with Flecken stepping in and with the help of his left crossbar clearing the danger, on his own goal line.

This was the second peak that the Dutch footballer has reached. To this day, he is the only goalkeeper in this year’s Premier League who has recorded an assist, in the match against Manchester City (05/02). In this particular game the “citizens” won 3-1, however Flecken was excellent, recording 12 saves.
