THE Real Madrid is one of the teams claiming this year’s Champions League title. In the second leg on Wednesday (06/03) they drew with Leipzig (1-1) and went through to the “8” phase of the competition.
UEFA wanted to deify him Antonio Rudiger, for his performance, and he did so by posting a video of his highlight from the game. The German defender saved two consecutive efforts from Dani Olmo and Xavi Simmons before celebrating furiously in front of the Real crowd.
The video is accompanied by a caption that spells out the word fighter. The specific characterization is not accidental, since it is an expression he has used in the past.
The year of winning the Champions League, by Chelsea, Rudiger was playing for the English team and after the final against Manchester City, he described his teammates as fighters. This nickname still accompanies him, presenting the passion he brings out on the pitch and this is what UEFA also wanted to emphasize.
