THE Manchester United won 2-0 against Everton, thanks to goals from Rashford and Bruno Fernandes. The two footballers converted the two penalties won by Garnazzo into goals and thus the “Red Devils” continue their hunt for European tickets.
The team coach, Eric Ten Hach spoke at the press conference and referred to the image of the match but also to the performance of the footballers who judged the match.
“It was an important victory. The team fought, we had team spirit, we created enough chances because Everton pushed quite high. We could have had more peace and calm. We needed this win. In the new year we had a poor performance against Fulham. We won most of the games. We wanted to keep the pressure on the teams above us“, commented the Dutch technician and went on to say:
“Garnazzo and Rashford are almost unstoppable when they get their moments back. Garnazzo is progressing a lot and we are happy with that. It is also attractive to the public. He gave us space and like Rashford he’s hard to stop when he’s in those positions. Last week he scored a very nice goal. I hope he hits his best performance when we get to the end of the season».
After this win, United moved within three points of Tottenham Hotspur. Ten Hach’s goal is to lead the team to fourth place leading to Champions League. That’s where Aston Villa is, who welcome Postecoglou’s team tomorrow (10/03).
