Greek champions in the Greco-Roman U15, Leontides

The Panhellenic Pampaion – Pagorasion wrestling championship in the Greco-Roman style ended yesterday with absolute success. Athletes aged up to 15 years proved that they have a wealth of talent, providing a spectacle and filling the indoor heavy sports gym at the Alcazar.

The interest was particularly high, as all the athletes fought for the Panhellenic title and at the same time the participation in the pre-national teams. Given that the European Championship will be held in Greece, it is easy to understand that the motivation was greater.

The championship was won by Leonidides Ano Liosion, where they collected 63 points. In second place came the Wrestling Club of Champions with 57b. and PAOL climbed to third place on the podium with 54b.

The matches continue today with freestyle and women’s wrestling. The matches will be broadcast live on ELOP’s YouTube channel.
