Voula Patoulidou “met” her wax figure in a museum in Kavala

She had a special “meeting” in Kavala, where she was at the weekend, the gold medalist of Barcelona in 1992 and deputy regional governor of Thessaloniki Voula Patoulidou.

With particular pleasure, as she pointed out, she visited it wax museum of Thodoris Kokkinides in order to meet up close with… Voula Patoulidou! In fact, he “met” her wax figure, created by the talented Cavalier artist in 2012.

In fact, for the needs of the creation of the statue, Mrs. Patoulidou posed for Thodoris Kokkinidis and donated the tracksuit he wore at the Barcelona Olympics in order to dress up her wax figure.

Voula Patoulidou was in Kavala as an official guest of the municipality of Kavala in order to honor with her presence and speak at the award event for women involved in politics and the public, organized by the municipal community of Kavala and the municipality of Kavala.

The deputy governor of Thessaloniki was also honored for her contribution to sports and her overall work in self-government.

In her speech, during the award ceremony, Mrs. Patoulidou referred through her personal experiences to the difficulties she encountered as a woman both in sports and in politics, noting that her parents are the two people who supported her the most everyone and believed in her.

With a lot of emotion, she spoke about the efforts she made and the struggles she had to establish herself, sending a message to all women to have faith in themselves and never give up on their dreams and efforts.
