Zaets: “I will be doubly happy if we qualify because of Panathinaikos – Calm and bold in Toumba”

Velimir Zaecs made his first statements as president of Dinamo Zagreb, on the occasion of today’s match with PAOK, even making reference to Panathinaikos…

“PAOK is a rival of my Panathinaikos, so I will be doubly happy if we qualify (ss. laughs). I am happy because I will see many friends from Greece there. It will be a very difficult game. We expect a lot of pressure from the fans. We have brought a great result, but we should be calm and bold. Then we will be able to go further by reaching the quarter-finals”, said the “strong man” of the Croatian team and former legend of the “clover”.

To add regarding the chances of Dinamo’s qualification and further distinction in the institution: “It’s nice to dream, but let’s be more calm and not get excited. First we have to eliminate PAOK and then focus on the Croatian league, where we have two strong opponents, Rijeka and Hajduk. I respect them and want to have good relations with all Croatian clubs. I will fight for it. I am very happy that our biggest sporting rivals, Hajduk and Rijeka, congratulated me on my election.”
