The men’s national handball team was known to be in the second capacity group for the first time in its history, ahead of the draw for the EURO 2026 qualifiers, which was officially confirmed by the European Federation.
A total of 32 countries will be drawn into eight groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing, as well as the four best third-placed finishers (excluding fourth-placed results).
The final phase of the competition will be held from 15 January to 1 February 2026 in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

2nd: Austria, Montenegro, Serbia, Poland, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Faroe Islands, Greece
3rd: Bosnia, Slovakia, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine, Italy
4th: Finland, Israel, Estonia, Georgia, Turkey, Luxembourg, Kosovo, Latvia
Denmark, France, Sweden and Norway have secured qualification for EURO 2026 and will play in the EURO Cup.
