The winners of the regular season in interclub championships of B’ National and Local categories

With the categories of the Men’s 2nd Attica National Team, the 2nd Northern Greece National Team for men and women, the 2nd Western Greece/Peloponnese Women’s National Team, as well as the Local categories in Attica and Northern Greece, the regular season was completed in March all 2023-2024 interclub table tennis championships. In the 3rd ranked category of the country, AS To Gymnasio and ASEA Veria in the men’s category, AS Pera Thessaloniki and Foinikes Glyfada of Patras were first in the two rounds of the specific regions in the women’s category. We take a look at the leading teams and the championships, which have just ended, after remembering that there are playoffs. The specific process in the Attica Men’s B’ National Team, as well as in the A’, B’ and C’ Local categories, will take place on Sunday 31/03 at the Stadium of Peace and Friendship. The playoffs of the 2nd Attica women’s national team will be hosted at the Byzantine Sports Center, in Alimos, on the weekend of 30-31/03. The playoffs of the 2nd National Team of Northern Greece for men and women, as well as the corresponding procedure for the 1st local team of the same region will take place on 30 and 31/03 at the indoor gym Filippio, in Veroia. Finally, the playoffs of the Western Greece/Peloponnese championships will be held in the indoor gym of the University of Patras on 03/31.

For the men, five more championships were completed in their regular duration. In the 2nd National Attica, the 1st place was won by AS To Gymnasio with the absolute number of victories and 28 points. 2nd place was taken by GS Aris Voulas with 24 and 3rd by AO Aris 2006 with 23 points. Panionios GSS entered the playoffs of the first 4 groups after a tie at 21 points with GAO Piraeus. With a 4-1 win and a 4-2 loss, he was better in the scores of the games between them.

In the 2nd National Team of Northern Greece, ASEA Verias reached the top of the regular season. Collect 25 points. GS Filia Orestiadas ranked second, beating AS Pera Thessaloniki on 23 points (7-6 in favor of the individual matches from the matches between them). Faros Alexandroupolis followed with 22 points.

In the 1st division of Attica, APS Ilion dominated without defeat and 28 points. Proodos Voutzas Rafina finished behind him with 25 points, 3rd was PKD Tavros with 24 and 4th was AO Dionysos with 19 points.

In the 2nd division of Attica, SPA Lykovrysis Pefkis came 1st with only wins and collected 28 points. AO Karea took 2nd place at the end of the two rounds with 26 points and 3rd was Panhellenios GS with 22. The Kypseli team had the same points as AK Zografou and prevailed 6-4 in the separate games between them.

In the 1st division of Northern Greece, two groups were made. In the 1st, SEA Kozanis reached the top with 19 points. 2nd place was won by EFEA Apollon Volos with 17 and 3rd by FEA Ioannina with 16 (tied with FAS Trikala they were +1 from the games between them).

In the 2nd group AS Makednos emerged as the winner with 23 points. AO Thermis Thermaios collected the same, but fell behind in the total of sets (19-21) from the games between them, which had ended with the same score (4-1) and one victory for each team. GS Atromitos Avada was 3rd with 19 points and AS Demokritios 4th with 18.

For the women, the two rounds in two more interclub championships were closed in March. In the 2nd National Team of Western Greece/Peloponnese, the Phoenixes of Glyfada of Patras finished at the top. They had only wins and showed 20 points. AEK Patras and Poseidon Loutrakiou tied at 16 points. They each had one win with 4-2 in the games between them, they counted the individual sets and there AEK was 22 in favor and 18 against.

In the 2nd National Team of Northern Greece, AS Pera Thessaloniki led with 8 points. 2nd place was taken by AO Thermis Thermaios with 6 and 3rd by AS Makednos with 4 points.
