Stoiximan Basket League: The schedule of the third round for the top six

by

One game week before the end of the regular season, its top six has almost become clear Stoiximan Basketball League, with the first 5 places finalized (Panathinaikos AKTOR, Olympiacos, Peristeri bwin, Prometheus, Aris) and only the 6th place open between AEK Betsson and Kolossos Rhodes.

Now, we can have a very good picture of the program of the third round of the championship, an innovation resulting from the new format of the league. It is worth noting that this round is expected to start on the weekend March 30-31. Of course, Panathinaikos AKTOR and Olympiacos they will also play together, in the 3rd matchday, at OAKA after the “greens” finished higher.

We remind you that based on the new format, after the end of 22 games of the regular season, the teams will be divided into two groups of six, from 1 to 6 and from 7 to 12. The teams will then play five additional games, with the top three in each group (ie 1, 2, 3 and 7, 8, 9) playing three games at home and the bottom three in each group (4, 5, 6 and 10, 11, 12) two matches at home and three away. So the number of regular season games in practice rises to 27.

The final ranking of the regular season will be determined from these results, with twelfth to be demoted and the seventh to eighth to earn a place in playoffs.
