Nikologiannis: “Doukas was specific, without fanfare, about the stadium”

His stadium project Panathinaikou in Botanikos enters a series again after what was mentioned by the mayor of Athens, as emphasized by Tasos Nikologiannis to News Bulletin 247.

“Mr. Doukas said some concrete things without fanfare. PAE and Erasitechnis have done everything they had to do, what the Municipality must do from now on is to inform the people of Panathinaikos at least once a month how things are going“, he initially reported and added:

“The consortium with a supplementary contract will also undertake the decontamination so that no more time is lost. The issue of the building permit is unblocked, as the mayor said, so this problem is also overcome. Mr. Doukas clarified that the demolition permit will be issued along with the others, but only when the stadium is handed over to Botanikos will the Avenue be demolished. He didn’t give a time frame for the stadium, but it’s doing well for me. The consortium will enter the site in the next two months for the decontamination and at the end of the summer, if everything goes well, the bulldozers will also enter to start the works, with the aim of delivering the stadium on December 31, 2026».

Finally, referring to the preparation for PAOK, he said that “… from Thursday the Slovenian internationals return.
