A minute’s silence in memory of the victims of Russia was held at the “Stark Arena”, in the match between Olympiakos and Partizan, and for this CSKA Moscow thanked the two teams through its official account on “X”.
In recent days, Moscow has been “plunged” into mourning, as over 130 people lost their lives from a gun attack at a concert venue. Such actions also “touch” basketball and Muscovites wanted to thank the teams that honored the memory of the victims. For a similar reason, the Tweet also included the name of Maccabi.
The message of the Russian club:
“Fraternal Partizan, friends from Olympiakos and Maccabi, we thank you on behalf of all Muscovites and Russians. It is very important to us that in a world full of chaos, there are people for whom there is no other’s sorrow. Let’s pray that something like this doesn’t happen again.”
