The city of Bilbao is experiencing historic moments with the “pride” of the city, the Athleticto celebrate winning the Spanish Cup after 40 whole years!
Tonight, the whole town, the whole Basque country celebrates this great historic moment of Ernesto Valverde’s team, which goes far beyond the boundaries of sport and football!
A great feast has been set up at the mouth of the Ibaithamba River, where the historic and iconic boat, “Gabarra”, in which the mission of the team is located together with the Cup, knowing the apotheosis of thousands of friends of the club who they are near the river!
The legendary barge remained tied up in port for about 40 years, as, the last time he went out on the river was way back in 1984! Now, “Gabarra” it sails again with Athletic’s friends living historic moments!
