Only the away match against Lamia for the 6th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League playoffs is on the minds of the Panathinaikos players, as stated on the Cosmote TV show, “Sportshow”, the Samet Akaidin.
The Turkish central defender of the “trefoil” emphasized in his statements that in the Leoforos match, Panathinaikos proved that despite the fact that they were behind in the score against Lamia, they showed everyone that they could win the match and for this reason they will not have to to change a lot in the way he plays.
Among other things, Akaidin made it clear that the “greens” work by approaching each match separately and that the derby of the 7th matchday with AEK at OPAP Arena will be put under the “microscope” after the difficult match in Lamia.
His statements in detail:
-For the victory in the previous match against Lamia at Leoforo: “At the team level against Lamia we played very well. The only difficulty we faced was that we found ourselves behind in the score. Throughout the match we showed ourselves and the fans that we could win, “turn” the match around and take it. We shouldn’t change much.”
-For the match with AEK that follows the series of the playoffs:“The playoffs are difficult, we all know that. We are obliged to look at each match individually. We are preparing for the next game. All matches have a different story, our focus is on the next match which is against Lamia and then we will focus on AEK. We have the same logic and we will continue like this, game by game.”
