Beautiful Arsenal, humiliate Chelsea and shout for the title!

by

She humiliated her fellow citizen and shouted (again) for the championship the… beautiful Arsenal!

Mikel Arteta’s team turned the London derby into a formality and a party with Chelseaprevailing 5-0 in the Emirates in the context of the postponed (29th) matchday of the Premier League!

Thus, the “gunners” are now alone in top (77b.)in the +3 from the Liverpool (one match less) and at +4 from the Manchester City (two games less). It should be noted that they increased their goal difference – which is the first criterion for a possible tie – to +56 (versus +43 of the “reds” and +44 of the “citizens”). On the other hand, the “blue” remained at 9th place.

Arsenal’s… party started almost from the dressing room, with Trossard to take Rice’s pass and open the scoring just at 4′ with a nice diagonal placement.

The truth, of course, is that the first half was quite balanced and highly productive. Chelsea created many phases, including a crossbar in the 23rd minute.

Nevertheless, in the second part there was… a storm, with the Whiteand the Havertz (against his former team the German midfielder) to score twice!

The first in 52′ and to 70′the second in 57′ and to 65′. A score that Arsenal could well have extended based on chances in the final.

It should be noted that well before the end, the Chelsea fans – naturally disappointed – left the stadium.
