Edgard is the leading “passer” in Europe

by

In Arsenal’s “performance” against Chelsea and the triumphant 5-0, Kai Havertz “hurt” the former with two goals, but the Martin Edgard he was the one who “touched” perfection. Essentially the only thing missing from his excellent performance was… goals, after he created two, one for the German striker and one for Ben White.

Especially with her 30 meter pass which makes Havertz “cut” Chelsea’s defense in half and gives his teammate the chance to make it 3-0. In general, he prevailed in the center area and coped with the tough play of Enzo and Caicedo.

A level better than last season and much more than when he joined Arsenal, Edgard is meeting the expectations that have always been placed on him. This year’s numbers prove that it is leading midfielder in passes among the seven major European leagues.

In particular, the Norwegian with eight goals and the same number of assists, has created the most phases in “open” play (78), has the most successful passes inside the opponent’s area (102) and the most advanced balls (18).

It is obvious that the “Viking” is in the best point of his career and with similar appearances in performance, Arsenal fans can “dream” of European marches and title conquests.
