Led by an unstoppable Joel Embiid, the Sixers beat the Knicks 125-114 in Philadelphia and reduced the score to 2-1 in the series of the playoffs NBA for the East.
The Cameroonian (but recently international with the USA) center had 50 points, 18 of which in the third quarter, when the home team’s 43-27 lead changed the course of the game. Embiid had 8/12 two-pointers, 5/7 three-pointers and 19/21 shots, while Tyrese Maxey added another 25 points.
Jaylen Brunson had 39 points and 13 assists for the New Yorkers, with Josh Hart following with another 20 points.
Game 4 will take place on Sunday night (20:00) again in Philadelphia.
