Olympiacos “bent” in the end and Barcelona tied it

However, in the last two minutes the players of Barzoka found a rhythm and closed the first half with partial scores of 2-7 (43-37).

Olympiacos entered the second half sluggishly and Barcelona found a 5-0 run, for +11 (48-37), in the first two minutes. Then, the “red and whites” made a reaction and with Peters and Williams-Gos brought the match to the basket (52-50), in the 25th minute. Parker cut off the streak of Piraeus, but the answer was immediate with the hungry Williams-Goss for the lead (54-55), at 27′. Baskets followed on both sides with the lead constantly changing hands, but a mistake by McKissick and a basket by Hernangomet sent the Catalans to +3 (60-57) at the end of the third period.

At the beginning of the fourth period, Kannan and Williams-Goss were charged with four fouls each and retired to the bench, but Petrusev brought the match to a point (60-59). Bad choices and mistakes in the attack by Olympiakos followed, with Abrines and Parker finding back-to-back three-pointers and sending Barcelona to +12 (76-64), in the 36th minute. The “red and white” reacted with Peters and reduced (76-69) in the 38th minute. However, that was the end of Piraeus, losing 77-69.
