Mara Rapti and Evangelia Toulgaridou will compete again in the AEK women’s volleyball team next season. The Amateur Union announced on Maundy Thursday the signing of the 28-year-old winger and the 26-year-old libero for next year to bolster the division’s quest for distinction next season.

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its cooperation with Mara Rapti. The 27-year-old (30/10/1996) 1.77m winger has signed her contract and is returning to the club’s women’s volleyball team after three years.
Mara Rapti wore the jersey of AEK in the summer of 2019 and for two years contributed the most to her return to the Volley League, as well as to her course in the top division of the League that was interrupted due to the pandemic. In 2021, he transferred to Aegaleo, while for the last two years he was competing in Apollonius, leading him to the big ‘salons’.

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Evangelia Toulgaridou. The 26-year-old (23/03/1998) 1.62m libero has signed her contract and is returning to the club’s women’s volleyball team.
Evangelia Toulgaridou wore the AEK jersey in the 2020-21 season, competing in the Volley League with the yellow and black. In the last three years he played for Apollonius, contributing to their promotion to the top division from the Pre League.
