Roma: Satisfied with the point with Juventus and… waits – Concern with Dybala ahead of Leverkusen

by

No score (0-0) and winner completed the derby between Rome and Juventus at “Olimpico” in the context of the 35th matchday of Serie A.

This was the fourth draw in a row for the “Bianconeri”, who are in 3rd place and the second in a row for Roma. For their part, the Romans remain in 5th place which gives a ticket to next season’s Champions League. However, they also have two matches more than the 6th Atalanta which is in the -3so… they wait.

A game that started very strongly, with phases on both sides and a great opportunity for each team. In the 6th minute, that of the hosts with Vlahovics, to answer… deafeningly o Christensen with beam at 11′.

In the end, it was Roma who opened the scoring. Specifically, at 15′ The Lukaku took advantage of Gatti’s erratic pursuit, scoring from close range to make it 1-0.

A score, of course, that did not stay for long, as at 31′ The Bremer he took Chiesa’s ball and with a header tied the match (1-1).

The “Bianconeri” entered the second half strongly, even bringing the… tie to the beams: In the 47′after his nice sharp dribble Chiesa and the shot fired from outside the area by the Italian midfielder.

Afterwards, both teams missed chances, with Juventus’s being more important to a degree. Thus, 1-1 remained until the final.

It should be noted that the Dybala started for the home side, with De Rossi replacing him after the finale of the first half (he was replaced by Zalewski). Probably in an attempt to protect him in view of the rematch with her Bayer Leverkusenwhich is scheduled for next Thursday (9/2) for the semi-finals of the Europa League.
