PAE Kifisia issued an announcement through which it takes stock of its maiden season in the top division of the country, thanking those who stood by it in this historic season for the club, while also standing by the great effort that was made, even though it did not have the desired result.
In addition, the announcement states that relegation from the Stoiximan Super League is an event that hurts, but does not kill the club, adding that now a new cycle opens!
The announcement in detail:
“With the competition season completed and the titanic effort made coming to an end for this year, as PAE Kifisia we would like, first of all, to warmly thank the friends of the team who were by our side during this year’s competition season , which was historic for the club.
Accordingly, let us express our warm thanks to those who came near us, as well as to the Municipality of Kaisariani for the perfect cooperation and the wonderful hospitality it provided us.
Despite the relegation, there are some things that are objective truth and no one can undo.
The great performances, the huge effort in every game and the positive results with some of the most historic clubs in the country, such as Panathinaikos and AEK, may not have proved enough, but they demonstrate that Kifisia gradually gained increasing momentum in the area Greek football.
After all, the targeted effort of the last few years resulted in the competition launching to levels that no one had imagined, culminating in the maiden presence in the Stoiximan Super League this year’s competition season.
Despite the objective difficulties and adversities that have existed, Kifisia presented on the field the principles and values that characterize and govern it, at its own expense. And this is the main issue for everyone who is part of it.
The goal of staying in the Stoiximan Super League was not achieved, but this does not negate or diminish in the least the great effort made by all members of the team.
Relegation is an event that hurts us, but does not kill us!
The current administration has proven that it does not give up, even when the conditions may – for others – not seem favorable. Therefore, he will continue to try in every way and fight so that Kifisia continues to develop, progress and grow at all levels.
Given the team’s return to its natural home, the “Ioannis Zirinis” Municipal Stadium, we look forward to the cooperation and support of all local – sports and non- sports organizations with our ultimate vision, for football in our Municipality to become a and to unite under its umbrella, all friends of sports.
Many may have the (false) feeling that Kifissia is over due to relegation.
So we inform everyone that this is not an option for all of us in the club. The opposite. Kifisia will grow even bigger and come back stronger.
