The matches for the selection of the champion in table tennis for 2023-2024 which in the calendar were for the weekend of 30-31/3 and were already postponed once at the request of Olympiakos, which was accepted by EFOEPA, were set for the two-day 20 and 21/5, however, Olympiacos appealed to the ASEAD, requesting that this date of performance not be valid.
The decision was issued on Friday, it was in favor of Piraeus and, therefore, E.F.O.E.P.A. will redefine the top division playoffs. We remind you that Panathinaikos, AEK and AS Pera Athens also have the right to participate.
Olympiacos had once again requested a postponement due to the obligations of two of its athletes, namely Yannis Sgouropoulos and Croatian Tomislav Pukar in interclub championships of other European countries. The new request of Olympiakos was not accepted by the Federation, as it is outside of the reasons provided by the general announcement that a club is entitled to a postponement. THE GREECE CUP WAS CANCELED
