Manzios: “It’s a matter of prestige, we want victory with PAOK”

by

Clear about his goal Mars in the game against PAOK in the last game of the playoffs, the result of which will decide this year’s champion was Akis Manzios in his statements. The coach of the yellows spoke of the prestige of his team, as always in such a match against the eternal rival and pointed out that his players are guaranteed to play for victory.

What he said to Nova’s camera in detail:

For the fact that the circumstances brought it this way, so that the championship was judged in the classic of Thessaloniki:

“It is the derby of the city and indeed the circumstances brought it this way, so that the champion is judged by this particular one! For us it is a prestige game, in which we want victory. We want to win for ourselves, as in all the other games and as always happens in the derby between Aris and PAOK”.

– If his team is in the situation he himself wanted now in the final of the league and in view of the final of the Cup:

“With the plan we’ve made over the last two months in terms of the squad and the management we’ve done in the use of players in the run-up to the Cup final, we’re on target in terms of how we should have been in the final. season. The team looks to be in good shape. Excluding Velez, we don’t have another injured player. In other words, the plan has worked well for us!”

– How does Manzios expect PAOK, who go into this derby after a series of positive results:

“PAOK has a great motivation at the moment, to become champion! These games between Aris and PAOK, however, are always different. PAOK, indeed, is in good shape. He has won three of the last three derbies he gave to Toumba and certainly his players are in a very good psychological mood. As I said, however, these games are special and the day each team will meet and how much each wants the match plays a role!

-How he and his players discuss that Aris found himself participating in two finals, starting with the one expected to judge the champion:

“Ahead of us is a derby, in which we want victory. We want the win for us. We don’t have extra stress or extra pressure compared to other games, in which we also want to win.”

– Regarding the change of coach at Panathinaikos, even if it changes his own plans, because for so long the “yellows” were working on other data:

“I don’t think they can change many things in the opponent. We will see after the match with PAOK the part of the Cup final with Panathinaikos”.
