THE Kirill Despodov spoke to Meso of his hometown and of course referred to winning the championship.
The 27-year-old initially noted that many criticized him when he transferred to PAOK, but he felt that things would go well. Then the Despodov referred to the night of the fiesta and emphasized that this title is the number one of his career so far.

“When I transferred to PAOK, many criticized me. I said that I do not regret this step for a moment. I felt inside that things would be fine for me there. What I felt, happened.

This title is No1 in my career. I am grateful for all the titles so far, with Ludogorets it was also something strong, but the one with PAOK will probably remain number 1 in my career forever.”
For the “final” with Mars: “They certainly weren’t happy that they didn’t draw. We went to their house, to their field and got the championship, that hurts. They have a great chance to take the Cup in the final against Panathinaikos. They haven’t won a trophy in 56 years…
I’m happy that we won this championship last weekend. After the draw with Lamia, we were even more stubborn in view of the four derbies ahead of us. In Greece there are five teams that are at a fairly high level, they are equal, with good Greek and foreign footballers.
