“UEFA shares the serious concern of the international community about the security situation in Europe and strongly condemns the ongoing Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
As the governing body of European football, UEFA works tirelessly to develop and promote football in line with common European values such as peace and respect for human rights, in the spirit of the Olympic Charter. We remain determined to show our solidarity with the Ukrainian football community and we are ready to lend a helping hand to the Ukrainian people.
We treat this situation with the utmost seriousness and urgency. The decisions will be taken by the UEFA Executive Committee and will be announced tomorrow “.
