The sports tourism and wellness event Navarino Challenge returns for 12the year, at 18-20 October 2024 in Costa Navarino and Pylos. With the global message “sport unites” the event will once again unite people of all ages and abilities, amateurs and professionals, in the presence of Olympic and world champions. The three-day program will include over 55 actions which will take place in two of the four hotels of the destination, the W Costa Navarino and The Westin Resort Costa Navarino.
Gymnastics with Petrounia, Millousi, Hatzievstathiou, Tantalidi
The program of the organization brings for another year the Olympic sport of gymnastics. More specifically, they will take place lessons gymnastics for adults, from the gold and bronze medalist in hoops Lefteri Petrounia, the 3-time Olympic Games participant Vasiliki Millousi and the gymnastics champions Giorgos Hatzievstathiou and Antonis Tantalidis with his support Gymnastics Stars. Football Clinics with European Champion Katsouranis
The Navarino Challenge welcomes for the first time in the competition, the European champion with the national team at Euro 2004, Costas Katsouranis. Running in the magical Oxbelly
The action of running has always been linked to the history of the Navarino Challenge since its very first year. The event gives participants the opportunity to run against one of the top Half marathons 21.1 km. in Greece, in Navarino Challenge Half Marathon by The North Face together with the Greek-American ambassador of Greek tourism and ultra-marathoner Konstantinos Karnazis. The most famous beach of Messinia – with a unique shape that outlines the Greek letter O – and one of the most beautiful in the whole world, is the ideal destination for anyone who wants to try their hand at running. It is the only trail run that combines dirt, sand and asphalt.
At the same time, the runners can run the enchanting route of the 10 km., next to the sea or the route of 5km powered by Miele, among olive trees hundreds of years old, which they can follow even with a brisk walk. One will be held on the same day 1km route, for young people aged 10-14 and one route 1 km for children up to 9 years old.
