Panathinaikos AKTOR conquered the top of Europe, as he forced it Real Madrid in a deep “bow” in the final of the Euroleague and reached his seventh “star”.
This trophy was also the first since the Dimitris Giannakopoulos became the group’s administrative leader. But Dimitris has taken this dissident gene a little further, to become a fierce critic of the financial and administrative management of the competition, accusing it of favoritism and bad management. His incendiary statements and threats to withdraw him Panathinaikou since the event have kept fans and media on constant alert.
