The OPAP Game Time hosted on the show the captain of Panathinaikos, Kostas Sloukas and the coveted seventh Euroleague trophy that was found in the Studio at the offices of OPAP.
The experienced guard spoke about the whole matter, as he referred to the conquest of the Euroleague, his relationship with Ergin Ataman and the Zeljko Obradovichis favorite moments but also the motto of the “greens” that he likes.
What he said in detail:
To win the Euroleague: “I am proud of the team, of my teammates and of the whole organization because in the last few years it has been through a lot.”
For Ataman: “I want to give credit to my coach. When he told people to “book” tickets for the Final-4, everyone called him crazy. The man is confident. We believe him completely. He has done it again and he was 100% vindicated. Our relationship is based on mutual respect, mutual appreciation and trust.”
For Obradovic: “Zeliko is my basketball father. He believed in me from the beginning.”
For the moments he won’t forget: “The three points against Fener with Olympiakos and the one with Panathinaikos from 9 meters. As soon as he entered I said to myself that the trophy is hard to lose. I don’t feel full. I am insatiable. I’m always motivated. We now want the championship and then… the 8th that the world sings too”.
For his favorite motto: “I won’t say the ‘voodoo-voodoo’ that Lessor used to say, I’ll say a simple one that my daughter used to say. She sings it and loves it. Which says ‘my clover, I love you’.
