Kotsis, past Ethniki, near the gates of AEK

Past from the position of team manager of the National team after ten years is o Kostas Kotsis. He is now expected to take up a position in KAE AEKwhere he had served for several years as its executive and during the period when he won the last championship, in 2002.

His place in the national team will be taken over by George Tsiaraswho has a similar role at Peristeri bwin, where he also collaborates with Vassilis Spanoulis.

His farewell message stated the following:

An exciting ten-year cycle is coming to an end. My active presence in the Greek National Team is coming to an end.

I thank the administrations of Giorgos Vasilakopoulos and Vangelis Lioliou for the honor and cooperation.

A big thank you to all the people I worked with at the Federation offices.

Especially my athletes, coaches and partners in the competition department, who together we lived and shared such intense moments in World Cup events, Pan European Championships, Pre-Olympic Tournaments and Qualifying matches in every corner of the world.

I feel full of experiences and emotions, happy, for what has been done for the overall operation, for the big steps forward in key areas that extend far beyond the racing presence.

Now, the thoughts of all of us are on our National Team and the battle for the big qualification.
