PAOK announced draw

Marta Drpa became a PAOK volleyball player on Monday. The amateur “two-headed” announced the acquisition of the 35-year-old Serbian diagonal for the next year for the department, so that it can be strengthened at the ends of the attack.

Drpa in the completed season, played in Maccabi Haifa and Prometheus.

In detail, the announcement:

“PAOK and the women’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Marta Drpa, for the 2024-2025 season.

Born in Serbia on 20/04/1989, Marta Drpa competes as a diagonal and is 192cm tall.

She started her career professionally from the 2005-6 season, playing for Red Star. She remained with the Belgrade team for a total of three competitive seasons, leaving in 2008. In these three years, Marta Drpa gained championship experiences, as well as participation in CEV’s European interclub events.

In the 2009-10 season he played in Switzerland with Volero, with whom he won the domestic treble (league, cup, super cup). In her later career, she returned to the Serbian league, playing for Zeleznicar and ZOK Spartak.

In the 2015-16 season, he competed in the first half in Italy’s Vicenza before continuing in the second half in Romania and Targoviste, with which he won the Cup.

Then followed a three-year (2016-19) in the German Bundesliga, playing for Potsdam.

In the 2019-20 season he played in Russia on behalf of Karsojak, while the following three years (2020-2023) he played in Hungary with the Roplambda jersey.

The previous competitive season (2023-24) was “broken” into two teams, starting with Maccabi Haifa from Israel, where he won the Cup, and continued with the Ukrainian Prometei, with which he won the double, while he also competed in CEV Champions League.

On the start of the cooperation with PAOK, Marta Drpa stated on the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “I am very excited and I have a great desire to play in one of the biggest teams in Greece. We will all give our 100% so that the team can achieve its goals.”
