They renewed with Panionios Giuvetsis, Kopeliadis and Papakos

To Panionio Kostas Giuvetsis, Nikos Kopeliadis and Yiannis Papakos will remain in the new season as well, who have renewed their collaboration with the club’s water polo department.

The 25 year old Giuvetsis joined the Blues in 2022, after four years at Vouliagmeni, and in the last two seasons has played in 54 league matches, scoring 90 goals. He is currently preparing for the men’s national team and is vying for a place in the team for Paris, already having in his collection the silver medal from the Tokyo Olympics, as well as the silver from the 2023 World Cup.

The 28-year-old Nikos Kopeliadis has completed a three-year spell at Panionios, during which he played in 82 league matches, scoring 126 goals. The left-handed winger was a member of the national team at the European Championship in Split in 2022.

John Papakosfinally, he is 29 years old, plays as a striker and has also completed three years in Nea Smyrni, with 83 matches and 90 goals in A1.

In the near future, Panionios is expected to announce other renewals, as well as new transfer acquisitions, as he has already said goodbye to three players (Limarakis, Moskov and Kalaitzis).
