Surprise transfer from Alimos. The southern suburbs team announced the signing of Ioanna Hydiriotis for next year. The 27-year-old regional player is one of the key athletes of the National Women’s Polo Team in the last decade with a multi-year career in Vouliagmeni and a successful two-year stint in Olympiakos and will significantly strengthen her new team in Greece and Europe.

Ioanna Hydirioti was born on April 15, 1997 and is considered – not without reason – to be one of the most accomplished active Greek players. Distinguished athlete, key member of the National Women’s Polo Team for many years, with performances and images of the highest level.
For more than a decade, her presence has graced the A1 women’s polo pools, initially with the cap of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club, where she stood out, being its captain and the last two years with that of Olympiakos.
Experienced athlete, at the best possible age. A real ‘machine’ on the perimeter who stands out for her multi-dimensional game playing on the right wing. The DNA of the winner flows in her veins, having been crowned, among other things, twice Greek champion and as many cup winners.
An integral part of the National team, with a presence in all the major events, a bronze medal at the recent Pan-European Championships in Eindhoven, where the “blue and white” also got the coveted “ticket” for the Paris Olympic Games.
